Barbara Daly Nail Polish Cheeky Cherry Review

I love trying out new nail polish colours, from bright to dark I adore them all. This Barbara Daly nail polish in the colour 'Cheeky Cherry' is an amazing find!   The nail polish is a gorgeous dark pink-red colour which is perfect for a night out (paired with a deep red or bright red lip) or day time wear in the Winter!  I love the nail polish's consistency and its smooth, easy, streak free application! I was also impressed with the 'drying time', as it was unexpectedly fast!.   I love this nail polish and I recommend that you do get your hands on it!

How to exfoliate your lips with Vaseline!

Are you tired of having dry flaky lips, that crack as soon as your put on your favourite lipstick?! Do you long for soft, smooth lips? If so try this handy exfoliating method! All you need is: Vaseline a toothbrush (not your everyday one) Start by putting less than a pea-sized amount of Vaseline on your lips. Then using your toothbrush, gently rub over your lips in circular motions for about 10-15 seconds . Afterwards reapply some Vaseline to hydrate your lips, and you're done. You will now have soft, smooth lips!

Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Do you want baby soft lips?   So I wanted to try Maybelline's Baby Lips lip balm as I have heard all the hype on blogs and YouTube and needed to test them out for myself. Maybelline offers six Baby Lips lip balms  in total, three of which are coloured (Pink Punch, Cherry Me, Peach Kiss ) and three colourless ones ( Hydrate, Repair, Mint Fresh ). They all claim to be moisturising and provide 8 hours of hydration. However, I decided to pick up two first, just in case I did not like them, so opted for two of the 'coloured balms' as I would rather have a subtle hint of colour on my lips instead of none. I chose  'Cherry Me' and 'Pink Punch' . LEFT: 'Cherry Me'             RIGHT: 'Pink Punch' Packaging I love the use of bold, bright, eye-catching colours which makes it easy to spot them from other products. I also like the clever font that Maybelline chose to put on their lip balms, and across their whole 'Baby' range,

Coca Cola Cherry Lip Smacker Review

Amazing smell!     Since secondary school (I'm now 21) I have been using my trusted Coco Cola Cherry Lip Balm! I honestly don't know where I would be without it! It used to be £1 at Primark (I stocked up!) now I can never seem to find it there, which is a shame. However, it can be found in Tesco but at £2.50.  Why I love this lip balm? it has a red hint of colour it is hydrating, especially in the Winter months it also has the most amazing cherry smell, which does in fact smell like Coco Cola Cherry! Although it doesn't taste like it though! (Don't worry, I don't go round eating lip balms!). Swatch Coco Cola Cherry Lip Smacker- single swatch If you can get your hands on this get it! You will not be disappointed, let me know if you do. I would love to hear if you love this as much as I do!   Available online in a set of 6 (including other 'flavours') for £9.99!

Collection Lasting Gel Colour Nail Varnish Review

I was in Boots the other day just casually browsing the makeup aisles (whilst I let my mum have all the fun shopping for a baking tray!). I noticed that they had a '2 for £5' offer on the Collection Lasting Gel Colour Nail Varnish.  Now my nails were not in the best of shape (a little warning for the photo to come!) but I really wanted to try a gel nail varnish.   I decided to pick up two nail varnishes; one a pretty, coral-salmon colour (called Watermelon 6) that was screaming to be in my nail varnish collection and a glossy clear varnish (called Crystal Clear 1).  I haven't tried the clear varnish yet but I presume it will be just as good as the Watermelon one. I love the 'easy wide brush' applicator as it makes applying a coat of nail varnish so, well easy! Pros: the nail varnishes come in a variety of colours great gel consistency amazing long lasting shine  wide brush applicator good chip-resistance Cons: nor

Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter Review

Golden Lights too bright? Or Just right?   I was looking for a drugstore/high-street highlighter that I could use in the very popular contouring process. I was not sure whether to get a cream product or a powder one. Eventually the time came to take the plunge and I decided on getting a powder product... One single swatch However, there was a slight issue, with me having a yellow undertone. Now don't get me wrong I love my yellow undertone but (some) high-street brands obviously don't (if you have a yellow undertone you will no what I mean!).  Every highlighter I saw had some sort of 'pinky/peachy' undertone to it. I love pink and peach but I didn't want to put that on the bridge of my nose, on the top of my cheekbones, on my cupid's bow etc... I think it would stand out far to much on me and look far less natural. Now I know sometimes the natural look is not always what we have in mind but if you have a yellow undertone then a golden

MUA Undressed Palette Review

Buy or not to buy?   I bought this MUA Undressed Palette  from Superdrug (UK drugstore) in search of a simple, yet diverse eyeshadow selection that would contain 'pretty nudes to smouldering metallics'. I have used it a few times and I must say I am very impressed! I love the colour selection and the price. Also I like the fact that the lid of the packaging is see through. Something that is very handy if you have a lot of palettes and haven't got time to sift through them to find the right one. The palette comes with a double-ended sponge applicator, which I do sometimes use. Also the back of the palette includes a cute little mini master class, handy for beginners, and those that want to try something different! By the way just in case you are wondering I found out after I bought my MUA palette that it is a dupe for the Urban Decay NAKED Palette. Swatches and Colours: As you can see all the colours are amazingly pretty and there is a look that ca
