Nivea Lip Care Fruity Shine Peach Review

I am always on the hunt for new lip care products due to my sensitive lips. I came across this new Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Care and I must say I think I may have a new favourite!   I love the moisturising nature of this lip balm as well as the gorgeous peach aroma. This balm also doesn't fail to deliver its promise of containing 'shimmering pigments' which does truly give off a 'fabulous shimmer'. I adore everything about this balm and I wish I picked up more! If you decide to try it let me know your opinion's.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Balm 'Redder the Better' Review

If you are after a moisturising, red lip balm then look no further that Rimmel's Lasting Finish Colour Balm in the shade 'Redder the Better'.     I love this balm and I think it is absolutely brilliant for a drugstore/high-street makeup product. Firstly it is extremely pigmented and one application of this might be enough. What I love about this balm is that it is buildable. So you could apply just one layer to create a rich stain or keep applying it for a more dramatic look.   This balm is very moisturising and you do not have to prepare your lips in advance with an ordinary lip balm. You can just use this straight away, which I find to be very handy when I am in a rush. Also the application is super easy because it literally glides across your lips. I recommend this to anyone who is after a gorgeous, creamy red lip balm.

NYC 16 Hour Lipstains- Review

Have you tried NYC 16 Hour Smooch Proof Lipstains yet? If you haven't I would recommend giving them a try...    NYC say: 'At last! Lip colour you can count on 16H. The pretty flush of colour that sticks around longer than most guys in this town…and looks WAY better. Goes on and stays on. Forget sticky, gloopy or heavy. These water based shades feel just like your own luscious lips!'   And I have to say I agree!     NYC 16 Hour Lipstains currently come in three different colours. Forever Freesia, Persistent Pink and Champagne Stain. I decided to pick up Persistent Pink and Champagne Stain after swatching all three on my hand.   The applicator is like a felt-tip marker which makes it easy to draw around the shape of your lips and then fill them in. I also like that these do not have a strong smell when you apply it like lip stains are known to do.   Persistent Pink:   Persistent Pink is nice colour that I like to use if I am going out shopping

Eyebrows, Eyebrows, Eyebrows

©Bootify   Only women can understand the importance of making sure our eyebrows are just right. It doesn't matter how tired we are, we will always make sure our eyebrows are 'on point'. Eyebrows are very important as they help to frame our face and can make a huge difference to any look!   It doesn't matter if I am just popping out to the shops for five minutes I will make sure to quickly 'fill in' my brows, and make them look the way I like them. It doesn't take me too long to do it because I only need to fill in a few gaps and just 'perfect' the shape, it takes me roughly around two minutes.  How long does it take to do your brows? I've always wondered how long it takes others.

L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation W4 Golden Natural Review

My current foundation is L'Oreal True Match W4 Golden Natural. I spent ages finding a perfect drugstore foundation that would suit both my skin colour and my skin's yellow undertone (if you do not know your skin's undertone click here ). I did find it difficult to find the right shade of foundation as most drugstore foundations have a pink or neutral undertone to them. If I use these my face ends up being grey or pink. I am sure many of you know the feeling.   Golden Natural W4   I then came across the L'Oreal counter and remembered all the adverts about L'Oreal True Match Foundation and thought to myself why not try this out. If I can find the right shade!   L'Oreal  state that 'The silky texture of True Match blends seamlessly with the skin. It automatically adjusts to the texture of the skin to create a flawless finish' . Do I agree? Yes and No.   I've put together a little pro's and con's list of my overall expe

What is your skin type?

If you are not sure what skin type you have, hopefully this post will help you. The main skin types are normal, dry, oily and combination. Below I will identify the main 'symptoms' that are used to describe a person's skin type. Knowing your skin type is important, because depending on your skin type you will need to adopt a specific skin care regime. Normal skin : not dry or oily Dry skin : flaky crusty red patches on your skin, usually on and around your cheeks more visible lines Oily skin : oily all over your face prone to acne, blackheads and other blemishes shiny complexion Combination skin : dry or normal in some places and oily in others such as the T-Zone (forehead, nose and chin) shiny skin ©Bootify

Finding the right shade of foundation

The most hardest thing I have had to do when it comes to makeup is trying to find the right shade of foundation! I am sure I am not alone. Here are my quick tips for finding the right shade: Determine your skin's undertone- If you do not know your undertone click here . Identify the three closest shades that you think you are. Ask a friend for help if you struggle with this. Swatch the three foundations on your jaw line- swatching from just under your jaw to your chin. Never swatch on your wrist or the back of your hand as the colour is always different to your face. Step outside (if you are on your own have a small mirror handy, or ask a cosmetic counter specialist if you could borrow one) and ask your friend which shade matches you the best. Whichever, shade matches you is usually the one to go for. Go back inside and ask a sales assistant for a sample. If you ask politely they usually do try to accommodate you. After all if you don't ask you won't know, just re
